General checks

The following checks are made during the creation of an XML message you want to send, as well as during the import of an XML message you have received.

When the Supply Chain Web service is accessed to create or import an XML message, then:

• Isah checks whether the web service address has been configured on the license server.
• Isah checks whether the specified web service can be used for Supply Chain Integration.

If these technical conditions have been met, then some of the content details are checked, such as:

• Whether both your company and your customer or supplier have an identifier
• whether the unit contained in a message complies with the SCSN standard. If the unit is not listed in the conversion table containing the valid units, then an error message will be displayed.

• The unit code of the parts specified, and whether the details of the unit code(s) have been entered. For example, if the unit code of a part is 'Quantity', then only a quantity is required. If, however, the unit code of a part is 'Quantity * Length * Width', then not just the quantity, but also a length and width must have been specified. If the details do not match or if any details are missing, a message will be displayed.

If you are using a web interface to exchange electronic messages, all participating parties must have an SCSN code.

When importing messages, only one currency code can be used in those messages.

Tip: If in the Document delivery method field you have specified that Isah should attach a PDF to the electronic message, you need to specify a report code for the message in the customer/supplier settings.
