Parts finalized during production, and therefore released for further production (semi-finished articles), stock or sales orders, can automatically be assigned unique object codes.
The following settings are relevant if you want to use object codes for parts that are finalized during production.
In Isah Configuration, the Create production receipts field specifies that production receipts are to be created immediately upon the registration of production quantities ('Yes' or 'Yes, process').
In Isah, the Object/service field on the Codes form indicates how Shop Floor Control should number objects. Shop Floor Control uses this setting only if no numbering is specified in the Sequence number field on the Parts form (highest priority) or the Service part groups form (second priority).
In the Isah Parts module, the individual part settings specify whether the relevant part should be assigned an object code in the production stage. To configure this, open the Object tab and set the Object-linked field to 'Yes, create automatically'.
In the Isah Parts module, the Link objects field for every individual part that should be assigned an object code in the production stage specifies how Shop Floor Control should number objects, for example by using existing object codes or by generating new ones.
Use the following settings to configure the use of object codes:
In Isah Configuration, use the Automatically open production receipts field to specify whether the production receipts form should be opened automatically, and if so, whether this should always be the case or only if lot numbers or object codes have been created.
Note: Because object codes are always unique, Shop Floor Control will create a unique object code for each individual part you register. If you register a quantity of five, then five object codes will be created.
