If in Isah a Windows user name is linked to a user, the Windows user name check box in Isah Configuration is selected. The link is required if you want to use the Integrated Login to log in to Isah automatically when you are logged in to Windows. In Isah Configuration, the Windows user name field is read-only.
An application administrator manages user accounts and assigns rights to users or user groups in Isah. A user who belongs to a user group for which the Application administrator check box is selected, automatically has all rights to particular forms and functions, to allow him or her to perform application administrator tasks. The Application administrator field is activated when the Application administrator field is activated for the user concerned. In Isah Configuration, the field is read-only.
The user may have application administrator rights because he or she belongs to a user group with application administrator rights. Although those rights apply to all the users who are part of the group, it is not visible in the Users tab. When the user has application administrator permissions because of group rights, the Application administrator check box is empty.
