Some changes have been made to the project lines form. These changes include the following:
The form provides two angles: the planning data of the project lines are available on the Project lines - planning form, and the financial data are available on the Project lines - financial form.
To check whether sufficient capacity is available when you plan a project, use the Info menu to open the Capacity overview form. The overview will show the data that are relevant to the current project. You can also open the form by using the shortcut CTRL + ALT + C.
Some of the data on the General tab of the Projects > Project lines - planning and Project lines - financial forms have changed:
The start and finish dates of the estimated planning can no longer be fixed using a check box. The check box has been removed, and the Restriction and Restriction date fields have been added instead. These fields enable you not only to fix a start or finish date, but also offer various other options, such as the restriction 'Cannot start after' + Date.
In the Planning and progress section, the Project lines column is no longer available. To display the data more conveniently, the Estimate and Project lines columns have been merged, and the contents of the column now depend on the plan type. If the type is 'Estimated', the Estimate column shows the data you have entered yourself or the data automatically calculated based on the data entered. If the type is 'Calculated based on underlying project lines', the Estimate column shows the combined data of the underlying lines: the earliest start date from the lines, the last finish date from the lines, and the total lead time.
