Service part groups are used to organize parts into groups from a service point of view. Use the Service part groups form to organize service parts. The use of service part groups has no financial implications.
The structure of the groups is the same as that of other part (main) groups. A part can be linked to multiple types of part groups. This is done on the Parts form: for an engineering group open the Calculation/production tab, for a purchase group open the Purchase tab, for a sales group open the Sales tab, and for a service part group open the Object tab.
