Remarks

• If an actual costing rate is to be posted for overhead, the overhead rate from the capacity group will always be used.
• The following actions are performed in all cases: If the Post to field for the hour code is set to 'Not', no costs will be posted.
• In the case of overtime, the total sum (labor, machine, and overhead costs) is multiplied by the overtime percentage from the working hours table (shift) to which the employee performing the operation has been assigned.
• Overtime percentages are not applied automatically. You have to define them manually for labor, machines and overhead. You can configure overtime to be calculated for labor, but not for machines and overhead.
• Overtime is determined by reference to the clocked times entered in the time registration records. These times are compared with the regular working hours of the shift.
