Shipping

Use the Shipping module to register the shipments of parts and to create shipping notes. Shipping note data are used when creating invoices.

The data registered to create shipping notes include:

• The order or offer for which you want to ship parts
• The quantity you will ship
• The time of shipment

The Shipping process includes shipping options for parts that have been sold.

Tip: Before you perform the steps below during the shipping process, you can display the items to be shipped. In the Shipping module, open the Sales offers and orders for shipping form, click the Shipping schedule button, and select the 'To ship - detailed' preset. The preset displays all non-completed shipping lines that still require shipping. If you Group by Shipping date, for example, you will see the parts you need to ship today, tomorrow, etcetera. If you group by Week of shipment, you will see the parts to be sent in a week view.
