The columns display more information about every machine operation, such as:
Starting a machine operation
You can start a machine operation on the Operations form:
In the Times field, enter a valid combination for a machine operation. A valid combination is one for which no labor hours have been specified. |
Select an operation and click this button to start an operation. |
The Current machine operations form now opens. |
Available actions
Open the documents for the selected operation. |
Check the material availability for the selected operation. |
Check the equipment for the selected operation or production order. |
Print the work order. |
Click this button to select a new machine. The button is visible only if the configuration allows users to change the machines in SFC. Click the button to add or change a machine. |
Click this button to register quantities. You can also register quantities when you stop the operation. You will use the separate button mainly to register interim quantities, for example for an operation that takes multiple days. |
Click this button to stop an operation, or to stop and finalize an operation. In the window that displays, you can register quantities and report any failures. Then choose Stop this operation (if the operation will be continued later), or choose Stop and finalize this operation. If you choose the latter, the operation will be removed from the overview in SFC. |
